Harlan Balaban is one of the founders of Balaban & Levinson, P.C. and is "of counsel" to the firm, having ceased the active practice of law. Mr. Balaban holds the prestigious "AV" rating from Martindale-Hubbell, and tried hundreds of cases during his career, including errors and omissions cases, insurance matters, personal injury claims, and banking and real estate disputes. For 29 years Mr. Balaban served as General Counsel for Yellow Cab of Denver and affiliates, Yellow Cab of Colorado Springs, Phoenix and Boulder, and Checker Cab. Mr. Balaban served as Local Trial Counsel for Yosemite Insurance, Market Facilities Incorporated, CNA, Employers Reinsurance Corporation and Commercial Insurance Company, as well as General Counsel for Ports of Call Travel Club, SkyWorld Airlines Incorporated, Plat Packing Company, and Colorado Trailways Bus Company. Mr. Balaban was elected to the American Board of Trial Advocates in 1982. In 1985 Mr. Balaban was elected to serve as president of the Colorado Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates.

Kenneth L. Levinson joined the firm, then known as Balaban & Lutz, in January, 1979. His practice emphasizes the defense of malpractice cases involving professionals in the insurance and real estate industries. Mr. Levinson has had significant experience representing businesses, insurance carriers, homeowners associations, banks and credit unions, as well as numerous individual clients in all types of matters, including domestic relations cases. He is currently a member of the forms committee of the Colorado Real Estate Commission. Mr. Levinson has participated in numerous mediations and arbitrations. He is listed in Who's Who in America and has been included in Who's Who in American Law and Who's Who in the West, and holds the prestigious "AV" rating from Martindale-Hubbell. His second mystery novel, Final Argument, was released in January, 2007 and is currently available as an eBook through Uncial Press (www.uncialpress.com). His first mystery, A Shadow In The Night, previously released as an eBook through The Fiction Works, is scheduled for a June, 2007 release by Uncial Press.

Cherami Ball Costigan joined Balaban & Levinson, P.C. in May, 2005. She received her Juris Doctor in January, 2003 from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan. Ms. Ball Costigan was admitted to practice law in Colorado in May 2003. She is also licensed in the United States District Court for the District of Colorado. Prior to joining Balaban & Levinson, P.C. her practice primarily involved Domestic Relations matters.

Bernadette Jane Wasilik joined Balaban & Levinson, P.C. in July 2006. She received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver College of Law and was admitted to practice law in Colorado in 2004. Prior to joining Balaban & Levinson, P.C., Ms. Wasilik's practice involved workers' compensation matters.
